rangeMapper is an R package built using R's excellent support for both database (DBI, RSQLite) and spatial classes (sp, raster ) providing a platform for the study of macroecological patterns of life history traits.
rangeMapper offers a consistent mechanism for operating with both the map cells (e.g. the assembladges) and the raw data (e.g. life-history traits) used to generate the map.
